I am positively impressed by the camera. Images are clear and sharp, resolution seems to be as spec'd as far as I can tell. Battery seems to be decent, charging works well via USB socket, so does image download. Only two little complaints so far: - boot time could be a bit faster (takes about 15s) - when capturing images of moving objects (or camera moved during capture), it looks as if capturing is not v-synced, resulting in mid-frame-offsets (see image)

Just unpacked and tried, looks like a decent lamp. Power is not 30W, I measured 1A from a LiIo cell but this is still quite bright. With 2 cells this means 5h full brightness with 2 2.5Ah cells. Charges off an USB.

abang Forgot a suggestion: The lamp would be even cooler if it had a magnet on its back to stick under a engine lid etc!

Just unpacked and tried, looks like a decent lamp. Power is not 30W, I measured 1A from a LiIo cell but this is still quite bright. With 2 cells this means 5h full brightness with 2 2.5Ah cells. Charges off an USB.

Q: Is there any firmware update? My biggest issue is that photos are often ripped apart since the capture does not seem to by synced to the frame rate of the camera. This includes the temperature readings when shown on screen.

Q: Can I use this device to find water pipes inside the wall?

abang If the water temperature differs from the temperature of the wall, yes. In my home, I can even "see" the bricks inside the rendered wall because concrete has a different thermal conductivity than clay bricks.

I actually removed the white shrink tube cover, sanded and (clear-)painted the blades. Cool wooden look, performance absolutely sufficient for what I do (cruising @ 2200 RPM)

I have an old "Hohner" german harp of same size and function, which lost few tones over time. This one was meant as a replacement, which it is in general. Pro: tones are in tune, mechanics work fine, nice and rigid case comes with it (wish my old harp had had one!) con: sound is siginificantly weaker than "original" Hohner made one. Probably not an issue if played amp'ed.

Nice and small to have in car or bag or even key chain, needs just one AA cell and is sufficiently bright to find your way home. The clamp allows fixing to various things.
