BG161213372 Possiblyone motor isn't performing as well as the other three - and the firmware cuts power to the other three to keep it level, preventing height gain.

BG161213372 Intheory, yes. The precise wiring you'll need to achieve this I can't speculate on without knowing more of your scooter. Worst case is you'd need one per battery.

Q: Has anyone hooked this up to a Sonoff or eps8266/esp32/rPi etc?

gefragt von kiat auf 2021-08-22 03:46:54

BG161213372 Interestingyou ask this, as I want to do exactly the same thing. There's no default, user facing, method. I've yet to take it to bits to look for some other interface - likely debug test points on the PCB. Might get lucky and there's a socket inside. You mention Rpi - as a worst case, I was going to use a pi with a elcheapo webcam runing a python script to visually read the display. Well, a bank of displays, I've more than one. When I get that far through my turbine build, I'll be back to divulge my learnings. If you get there first, pop back and let me know. ***Update*** Four phillips screws on the rear of the device allows to expose the PCB. On there I see 6x test pads. If we're really lucky, that'll be SPI or suttin. More needed than a casual glance, but there appears to be capacity to connect to a microcontroller - and there even appears to be enough room inside to mount an ESP32 or w/e. If the display is mounted flush to a panel as intended, then it'll attach to the back of the device - drill a few holes for the data lines - and not look ugmo on the user-facing side.

BG161213372 Feelslike a 3.7V Li-Ion 18650 - but I've not actually opened it up to check yet

BG161213372 The multirotor should of come with a leaflet with a QR code? scanning this should locate an app, or browse your app store for 'camera drone'. Once the app is installed, you need to bond the controller to the drone, then connect the phone to the wifi access point the drone creates. Launching the app should then give you the camera. Buttons in the app will switch camera etc.

Q: is the controller fournished whit the generator an mppt type ?

gefragt von BG331543471 auf 2022-06-09 01:29:23

BG161213372 Ibelieve so - but don't qoute me on this. I think they need to be MPPT on wind turbines to prevent blade stall when you apply the load -=- pulling energy from the coil increases magnetic flux and resists the progress of the magnet... MPTT will allow to 'feather' the load to find what is the most energy it can pull at the current wind speed... This turbine is rated to give it's 800W at 12.5meters per second wind (about 35MPH) ... but it should start producing current @2 meters per second (obviously, giving a lot less than 800W) .... to put that 800W load on there @ 2meters per second would stall the blades... to run @ 2 meters per second I'd wager it's an MPPT system.

BG161213372 Ifit helps, this kept me going for a little while too. I couldn't find a manual but from something very similar I learned the three wires the same colour from the turbine connect to the three wires the same colour, likely grouped together, on the controller. Mine are green. It's 3-phase AC turbine - the turbine has three sets of windings, and as it rotates the magnet past each they energise in turn. It doesn't matter which one goes where, the turbine controller will sort it out. This leaves two wires coming from the turbine controller which should be DC, red and black on mine, and ideally connected to a battery. I have another turbine, with a very similar controller. Three wires are very closely grouped, I assume the AC input, the other two are green and red ... I assume the red is the DC positive, but will confirm this once I have them up. I'm still buying brake switches, parts for the tower etc.

BG161213372 Theturbine itself produces AC, I believe that's about 30A per cable at it's peak. The included controller eats all three AC cables and produces DC, which can wire directly to an inverter - or more sensibly, a battery powering the inverter. Then it'll output whatever you want.

Q: Can my product be banned?

gefragt von BG111538477 auf 2022-07-06 12:36:39

BG161213372 Um?What do you mean by 'banned'? The controller talks to the quadracopter over a few 2.4Ghz channels, this is to try and ensure it's always got a 'clean' one to send commands over - AFAIK, it doesn't talk back. It doesn't connect to any third party network. There's nowhere to get banned from. A signal jammer or wave bubble can impact ability to sucessfully send commands but I doubt anyone would waste their time deploying one over a toy - especially as 2.4Ghz is used by wireless and most people like internet.
