mikey553 My capacitors are made by Chenxing. I have checked all 10 of them and measured 0.6-0.8 ohm ESR. Not sure if this qualifies as low ESR, but measured another batch of regular, not low ESR caps and got about the same numbers. I guess their low ESR claim is false.

mikey553 My lamp does not do that with either 2000 mA or 1200 mA USB power adapters. Make sure there is nothing wrong with your power adapter and it can supply enough current. If it is OK, then your lamp is defective.

mikey553 I would believe it if it would not come from Banggood. Most likely it is produced by Chinese pirats and Banggood happily sells it no questions asked.

mikey553 External sensor with cable and plug is included in the package. The unit has a socket where this sensor plugs in. The unit reads degrees C, could not find any way to change it to F. It is sad the Banggood description and product manual do not say a single word about it. Banggood emailed me and asked to answer this question. They do not know their products and it is sad again.

mikey553 Do not try to find any logic where it does not exist. Banggood is constantly changing prices and they may not even know that red and green versions are the same. In reality the meter is black plastic and it can use either red or green rubber jacket. I bought a red version in September for $31.99, it is $35.99 today. Don't let a couple of dollars affect your purchasing decision.
