BeppeC Ihave the worktop with the 20mm holes and I secure the clamps in the holes with their knob locks. If you don't have a drilled top you will need to put screws on which you can screw the clamps to use them better still put sleeves in various places on the top and then screw the clamps when you will use them so you can use the clamps in multiple positions.
