For a plane that has all of the parts to fly with GPS and flight stabilization, as well as FPV gear, this was a great deal. I was able to pick it up for less than $100, and for that price, wow! The plane is very small. Smaller than I had expected. It is easy to hand launch like a football, and once in the air, on a calm day, it flies with great agility! I have flown 40" wings, so double this size, and I can say that flying a small FPV wing gave me more confidence to fly around obstacles such as trees and structures, knowing that I had the maneuverability and small size to make it in between things. I had 2 bad launches due to the trim needing to be several clicks 'up'. Since it is so small and light, it takes a crash very well! No damage both times to speak of, so I am very happy about that! The included camera and VTX are in the 'good enough' range for a FPV setup. The camera doesn't pick up a lot of light, so it seemed a bit darker than usual. The VTX had plenty of power, and the range and clarity were great for 400mW. The GPS works pretty well! I used the return to home feature, and it did just what it was asked to do. There is no way to know what the GPS satellite fix is when you are in the air though!z It doesn't show on the OSD since the camera is not connected to the flight controller. I don't know how many satellites it requires to return to home, but the GPS, once it is set up and gets a fix, as indicated by the flight controller, didn't fail me yet, though from past issues with a GPS losing satellite fixes mid flight and losing the return to home feature while a mile out, I don't have 100% confidence while not knowing my current GPS status via OSD. Overall, if you need a sub 250 gram plan for registration concerns, then this is a good option. If you have flown small airplanes with stabilization, you know what you are getting into. Don't expect it to fly like a big plane. It is fast for it's size, and it is squirrely, but very fun!

These blades work pertty well. They are pretty thin, so any crash or hard landing is going to result in a bent blade, but they bend back easily and are true again and again. I haven't killed one of them yet!

I bought this for a small drone build, and the thing that I did not notice about it when buying it was that the VTX is so much larger than the flight controller. I was going to run a double stack build in the CX3 frame, and this flight controller will not work in that frame at all for a double stack. I have not been able to use it, and it has been quite the dissapointment.

Great little FPV drone, with one major issue! The VTX on mine has been dreadful. I don't know if I got a dud, but my VTX has terrible range for 200mW. At about 300ft, I already get a lot of video loss. I have switched around channels quite a bit, and I had a crash my 5th flight due to the VTX just completely shutting off, and 2 of the motors were damaged in the crash. I contacted Bangood, and after 3 rounds of trying to get their support team to email me back and them completely dropping the the ball, I gave up and bought the new motors myself. This is my first issue with bangood, and it caused me to lose confidence in their customer support completely. At any rate, the video system is great! The video quality, both recording and live through my goggles is top notch! The stock blades are a bit too much for 4S flight. It doesn't have very good slow flight characteristics and is very touchy on the throttle. I got some HQprop 3x3x3 props, and it really helped quite a bit to even this quad out and make it more stable. Buy this drone, and you won't regret it, but you might want to upgrade right away to a better VTX that will support better range for anything but short range flights.

Q: XT30 or XT60?

QuiddlerX Itcomes with an XT30 adapter. You could of course add an XT60 if you wanted.

These are great frames if you are looking to build the ultimate mini cinema drone (cinewoop). For a 3" model, its rigid, tough, and protects all of your expensive components nicely!
