Q: Can this also be used like multimeter?

pocketscience Not really... it can measure voltage and graph it against time - that's what oscilloscopes do. It can't do amps, resistance, etc like a multimeter.

I bought 2 of these and they simply don't work. The module powers up and I can see the Wifi blue LED, but there's no Wifi AP to connect to, and trying to connect over serial interface doesn't work either. Sorry I bought this.

pocketscience Yes, any HomeKit accessory can be controlled remotely as long as you have a hub device (eg Apple TV, HomePod, or iPad setup as hub).

Looks OK - hopefully won't need to use it for some time. Hoping the one in the S-993A that arrived at the same time lasts a long time!

Received, and a quick trial run with the S-993A shows it works OK. It requires a few passes to get a completely clean pad, but certainly much easier than using the old "solder sucker" I've had for years. Wish I'd bought this earlier!

Looks OK. Not the greatest finish, but looks functional. Pretty expensive for what it is really.

They're pretty, but honestly not much more functional than the stock units. In fact they don't have the direction arrows so that's slightly annoying as I always forget which way to turn them! :)

The picture shows a power adaptor, but it doesn't come with one. One use a 9V adaptor (pin positive) or you'll blow the scope up. It's a solid build and worked straight out of the box for me. The probe is excellent quality and NOT the basic alligator clip shown in some photos. I'm a hobbyist and couldn't justify hundreds of dollars on a bench scope. I also own the entry level scope from jyetech which is ok, but not powerful enough for my current projects. Very glad with this upgrade to my toolbox!

Super impressed with this soldering iron. Being able to update the firmware isn't essential but does make it a more flexible tool. Shipping from AU distribution was super fast. I wish more products were warehoused locally.
