lroge Ididn't have to fix anything by connecting the laser to an arduino and a cnc v3 shield. The voltage of the power supply supplied with the laser is 12 V and 5 A.

jdnoggle My volume control was broke off. But it was shipped in zip lock baggie
Natean TTL is generally 0V off, 5V on.

jdnoggle After replacing the volume control it does sound great. Don't put 18 volts ac to it because the caps are only rated 25 vdc. 18ac = 25.38 vdc
