zzkpt Hello Banggood! I'm not a technician but from what I've found through trial and error, the problem seems to be lack of strength of the bluetooth signal coming from the bus scanner. I took the device apart and using it without the plastic case (just the OBD conector and the PCB) the problem goes away almost completely. The car's computer doesn't go crazy anymore and the Torque app rarely drops the connection to the ECU. It's all very strange.

I live in Portugal and own a 2008 Citroen C3 with the 1.4 litre HDi engine. This car uses the following protocol: ISO 15765-4 CAN 11 bit ID, 500 kilobaud. Today I received this product. I went on to purchase, install and configure the Torque Pro app for my Nexus 5, connected this bus scanner tool to the car's OBD connector and... about 3 minutes into the ride, my car went "a-wire". What I mean is,
