Also ensure that secure boot is disabled, but there's no need to change from UEFI boot to legacy unless you're installing a home-brew OS and haven't built it with UEFI. Now there is a choice of OS installed, the grub boot menu appears, though it should really have appeared before to give the options of memcheck and recovery. There's a slight downside with the TF card slot, it that in order to get it to latch it needs to be pushed below the surface and to do that you need something narrow to push it with (another TF card initially works). I expect I'll carve some of the case away so that I can do this using fingers instead - needs around 1mm of plastic removed. The information as to how to get into the BIOS setup should really have been supplied in the box, since it's not standard across manufacturers and the BIOS does not display it on the screen during boot.
