Q: what is the VCC pad used for ?

wavesummit VCC stands for Voltage Common Collector. It's the full voltage of the lipo, some flight controllers need the full voltage to display on the OSD. Alternatively you could solder to the same pad as the battery but this makes it easier.

wavesummit yes it can be used as one of the components to make a drone, although you would not need one if you are using a 4-in-1 esc.

Q: How can i get into boot mode? I see only one boot pin, have to short with 3,3v?

wavesummit You can do it using the cli in betaflight it's either bl, or dfu
