The product received as shown on the web site. The waterproof protection of the inner compartment, which contains the battery and the internal control board is very basic - a simply plastic cover. No o-rings or other precuations that water will not get inside from the top. The battery and, most importantly, the control board inside are totally unprotected from water/humidity. Hence the 3 stars for quality. The product is not tested yet.
