Antwort 29/07/2018djkaossy Antony,Your power source is not capable of driving this amplifier at high levels.A power source of 24-0-24 at 2 amps? This is not enough current. You need more amps,a bigger transformer.
Antwort 29/07/2018PIGUAVE Hello I can use the following transformer: 300VA 26V-0-26V 12V-0-12V 6V transformer amplifier pure copper transformer high power 300W Audio transformer toroidal
Antwort 04/09/2018Endre Antony, you need a much larger transformer. Anyway the amplifier chipset is specified as: BTL 1

Theoreticallyyou need a 8,5 A transformer for 8Ohm speaker or a 17A transformer for use with a 4Ohm speaker.
Calculated rates (theoretically) would be 2 x 24VAC = 48VAC 48VAC x

at2*420W=840 W output power. Efficiency of TDA8954TH amplifier is maximum 93% meaning that your power supply transformer should provide minimum 903 W. At 24 Volt it should be able to provide current of 37,62 Amps. Your power source configuration is able to deliver maximum 2*48W=96 Watt*93%=max 89 Watt audio power! :)
Get a 10 times more power and you will have better result.

Thedata sheet says in BTL configuration you must use an 8 ohm speaker.
The on-board rectifiers are nowhere near strong enough for 420W; remove them and use 50 Amp, 400V chassis-mounted bridge rectifiers. Smoothing capacitors should be 10,000 microFarad 200V. As stated by others you need a transformer capable of supplying at least 40 Amps, preferably much more. You will need slow-start circuitry to avoid blowing fuses when you switch on the power supply.

Poweris rated for 2 ohm speakers (U²/R). And this for 28 V. To get 900 W (840 plus losses) out of 28 V you need 32 A And real good caps.
In 4 ohm speakers you can get only half of the rated power (210 W channel).
With 24 V you may be achieve 144 W this make you need a transformer capable of 12.5 A minimum. You are a bit out of range with the 2 A power source.
Renato V. Cabiling @AdrianCiortea That absolutely right more power source more power output....
Antwort 30/05/2019Renato V. Cabiling @drvk correct!!!!

Antwort 09/10/2020BG239154720 You are getting clipping because the maximum power output of your power supply is 100W. You cannot get 840 Watts out when you only put in 100W

Asseveral has mentioned already: You need a far better transformer to get out what theese chips are capable of.
Actually I'm a little provoiced over the 800W mentioned from theese.
The truuth is only 420W is achiveable from theese.
Any attempt to stress the load all the way down to 2 Ohms in brigded mode will cause catastophical failure.
As the datasheet for theese chips say: Highest possible load for brigded mode is 8 Ohms. Any attempt to run them with a lower speaker impedance may result in failure.
The excess heat is possibly due to insufficient current available from Your transformer, 15A is a minimum.
