I have to say that for my application this thing works extremely well. Make sure to download U-Blox software, set the baud rate to 19,200 and then turn on autobaud, got a fix within seconds. This unit is also relatively easy to hack for an arduino or RPI if anyone is looking for a good GPS at a low price. Arrived within a week!

Similar to another reviewer I have had issues with the USB connection not being recognized by two different computers running two different OS's. I wanted this for a stratux box and although that box reads a VK-172 fine it never shows a connection with the vk-162. This matches what occurs on a windows 7 box where the Ublox software as well as the windows OS fails to see that a device has been inserted. A VK-172 works fine. Customer service has been less than helpful asking for either a video or pictures, although what these would show other than that the device does not connect is unclear. I have given them screen shots and will await their evaluation. The attached screen caps showing one disconnected is with the VK-162 attached and the one showing a solution is the vk-172

Excellent produit reçu rapidement et tout à fait conforme à la description, fonctionne très bien sous Windows sans avoir à installer le moindre driver (Windows 10). Câble suffisamment long pour être placé au mieux. Je suis très satisfait de ma commande.

Does its thing as described. I did not check the accuracy yet, but first location was exactly where I expected it to be. Windows standard drivers are working.

Antenne ist OK, das Problem ist, dass es keine Navigationssoftware gibt, also funktioniert es nicht wie kompaktes GPS für Autos wie Garmin.
