This converter is well worth buying. Easy connection of an older laptop or desktop computer with a VGA connector to a HDMI screen (or HDMI TV screen) Works excellent, sound quality is perfect. I use this converter for an other purpose as well. I have a Samsung Galaxy smartphone with a micro USB to VGA converter with sound, that works perfect too. Now I connect both converters, micro usb to VGA and VGA to HDMI to function as one system and I can use my smartphone to play anything I want on a big HDMI screen in good image and sound quality. This is an extra useful purpose for this adapter system!
