I don't have a connector to solder onto this yet but it did arrive in good condition and seems to power up when plugged in. Can't go wrong for the price. Will update when I get to try it out on a battery.

I wired one of these to an 18650 battery box case (Banggood Product ID: 965083) just to check it out. You have the option of using the built-in USB port or soldering a different socket or even permanently hardwiring an AC adapter. I used the USB port for testing. The unit has a red LED that lights while the battery is charging and a green LED that lights once the battery is fully charged. There were no heating problems and the battery charged just fine. I will definitely be buying more of these!
