Unfortunately the Peltier is not working at all. We wired it and nothing, not cooling not heating up, it does nothing. Totally dead.

This device itself is pretty useful and considering the price, you should always have a piece near your bed for late night ideas! Remember, always use proper heatsinks and fans to dissipate the energy on the hot side, otherwise the device will get burned in a few seconds. This is good both for efficiently heating up or cooling down a small volume

I bought 4 TEC1-12708 Peltier Plate. From spec, they suppose to take roughly 8A from a 12V source. So that should be a roughly 100W power plate. But I used a 12V power supply (measured at 12.5V loaded) and these Peltier plate only drew about 4.2A, which is just half of what was advertised. Still useable but pretty disappointed with the underrated performance.
