It seems the test data provided for this motor is the 1400kv version, this 1800kv will pull over 30a on 3s with an 8060 prop, an apc style 7x5 propeller will pull about 23a which is probably close to the max amps of this configuration comparing it to other similar 2212 1800kv motors (like a mystery a2212 which lists its max amps as 28, but costs 3 times as much.) That being said it's still a great motor, looks high quality has tight bearings and isn't hearing up too much with a 7x5 apc prop.

propellers tested 3S 6540 scimitar, 6045 bullnose, 6050 gws, 6040-3 blade gemfan , no problems at all, 1 meter wingspan airplane flyes really well, on 4S tested propellers : gws 5,25x4,5 , bullnose 5040 , flyes powerful and smooth ; a propeller over 5,5 inch in diameter seems not suited for this motor : it prefers running on high rpms so likes small props to transform all energy in movement without wasting in heat . Really happy with it

Have this thing mounted on a Flitetest Delta made from depron. I use a 06x4.5 bull nose prop on 4s with it. The plane goes ballistic with it, certainly over 80 km/h. The motor gets not even warm and holds up very well so far.
