It has nothing to ask to the probably more popular Raspberry... Truth is this is a more powerful piece of hardware at half the price. Software install was easy and clear. Mind the charger though, as it is not included! At least I learned how to convert an USB to a DC charger with a cheap DC connector and some soldering.

only software support could be better. Works OK on Armbian totally useless with Android (preinstalled on eMMC - Chineese by default) and Raspbian - no wifi pure video support. Some problems with wifi - pure connector - antenna must be fixed cable also.

Unlike some other models in the range - this one WORKS. Well, clearly it works - but what I mean is - you can easily access the GPIO and I2c - more than can be said for many Raspberry Pi look-alikes. It took several attempts to find an OS version that enabled both the wired and wireless network hardware. I'm still having a few problems with a USB keyboard, but otherwise it is a quite functional as a browser. Loaded Firefox (hate Chrome) and other security without problems. Next to see how it plays Netflix and others.

I have had good luck with these orange pi's, they need a bit more work to set up then the RPi but out perform them once dialed in.

Arrived safely packaged reasonably and does everything it is advertised to do. I had no problems setting up retrorange pi on it and had it working flawlessly in less than 30 minutes. A solid device that will get put to good use! Will buy again should the need arise!
