The housing does not fit together easily. In order to save slightly longer screws, the bottom plate is too close to the PCB, so that the protruding wires of the parts ensure that the bottom plate is bent. An annoying fact is that it has not been thought that you have to screw the module. If the bottom plate had been made two centimeters wider and had two extra holes, this problem was solved. Of course we were curious how the accuracy of such an extremely cheap device looks like. We compared the reading of the NTC sensor with that of a type-K thermocouple coupled with a precise Lascar thermometer. The average error is ± 1.43 ° C and that is good enough for a thermostat. At around room temperature (+20 ° C) the error was the smallest but the deviation increases, both to lower and higher temperatures. At a reference temperature of -5 ° C the W1209 indicated a temperature of -7.2 ° C. At a reference temperature of +100 ° C the module claimed that it was +102 ° C. I purchased this kit with no real use in mind. Bottom line is, I am retired and simply put kits together to keep the 'little grey cells' active. But having said that this is a great kit to build. It comes with a sensor probe on a twin flex that is about 500mm long. The temperature settings are displayed on a display of 3 x 7 segment LED's. Input requirement is 12 volts and this is switched by a onboard relay rated at 20A @ 14 volts. Temperature settings and adjustments are set/made using 3 PCB switches. And the bonus - the whole assembly is housed in a clear Perspex case measuring a very tiny 58 x 50 x 15 mm. Uses are limited only by your imagination.

Es funktioniert so toll auf meinem Inverter und die zusätzliche Lüftersystem ich entworfen halten meine Inverter Original-Lüfter aus zu allen Zeiten. Tolles Produkt bestellte ich mehr nach diesem Test.. 😀

It works so great on my inverter and the additional fan system I designed keep my inverter original fan off at all times. Great product I ordered more after this test.. 😀
