I am a licensed aircraft technician and also hold a military certificate for soldering. I have used many soldering irons. This little iron heats up quick, and the ability to adjust temperature right on the handle is great. It can go down to 80c which makes it useful for melting foams in a controlled manner as well. It remembers the last programmed temperature after you power it off, which is nice. It does not have the On/Off rocker switch as pictured, at least on my US/110 volt unit. Included instruction are not in English, but there is a link in the FAQ to download a set. All you need to know is yellow button=hotter, black=cooler. 900 series tips are also cheap and readily available on Banggood. My trusty Weller will now be my backup iron.
Works good. Heat up quickly.
Just perfect, Thank you.
Works without any problems. Highly recommended.
Livraison tres rapide, reçu tel que décrit par le vendeur. Je suis content de mon achat.
Stopped working after 40 minutes. Low quality!!!! The customer service ignored my 10 emails :( Have to move to Gearbest.
Very fast warm up, much faster than my old, now retired, iron. One problem though. Instructions say that to change from C to F readout, you should press the "up" and "next" button at the same time. I assume that the "up" button is the temperature increase button, but where is the "next" button? I have tried all combinations of the two buttons and cannot get the iron to switch to F readout.
super
This item works well. I am very satisfied. My only minor complaint is there is a lack of an English user manual.
US Plug, 110V, nice LCD, easy to set temperature. I have another LCD temperature controlled soldering iron and I love it, but this one is my new favorite because it remembers the last set temperature. My old one always started off at the lowest temp and you had to set it every time you plugged it in. This one also allows temperature settings from 80C to 400C where the other is 200C minimum... I don't always use soldering irons for soldering... the lower temperature setting makes this more flexible.
