base plate is well anodized and finished. the screw isn't that well finished but a good one would look the same after a mounth of use. in my case the screw is a mm bigger in diameter than the hole on the base plate and therefore won't fit in - close of in center. i'll send a direct mail to bang good requesting a replacement which i think won't cause any problems other than another +- 8 days of shipment and a few days for the e-mail traffic. overall worth the money if fitment will be correct right away.
