I have purchased several of all available sizes in metric and Amercian standard sizes. I have used all of them, expecting to have breakages. I have had none! These spiral taps work great in Aluminium and steel through holes - even stainless steel. They eject the chips forward of the tap and prevent it being clogged. Excellent value for money.

Bought this tap set on price alone as I can always use some "throw away" taps in my tol box. But this set is far better than expected and will be part of my 'every day' machining tools. One comment worth saying to Banggood: PLEASE put a protection sleeve over the cutting end of the taps so they can't hit their sharp edges against each other in shipping!
