Before it warms up it does act as an attenuator, so be patient. The blue LED faintly flickers when powered and then turns a solid blue when it has signal. During my indoor testing, I saw about 3db gain at best. It has about the same performance as my old WiFi booster but is much smaller and lighter. I will try it in the field soon, but I'm skeptical at this point. Make sure you've got it connected to your primary antenna in your transmitter. The secondary really doesn't do much.
