I typically need 3 different voltages on my workbench for various projects, 5 Volt, 12 Volt, and a variable supply ranging from 3 to 24 volts dc. After seeing this case, the Step Down DC - DC converters , and the variable digital Step down power supply , I decided to build a custom supply. This case was the perfect size to accommodate the 3 PC boards, Front panel read outs, a 50 MM fan and an assortment of input/output connections

It seems to me good construction. Recommended Product. If you want to be fussy, some small scratches you see and some slight dent on the plastic part. But couriers do their worst with the parcels they have to deliver.

Very sturdy metal case. The metal is thick enough to tap into (i used M3 threads). You can take the top, front and back off separately without the box falling apart. Mine arrived in good condition with no dents or scratches. Sadly screws for the front and back panel are not included. Makes a great bench power supply with plenty of room to contain a main power supply and all the wiring.
