Does what it has to do. Note that there is nothing RFID about the lock, it is just a simple spring-loaded latch, opened by a solenoid when 12V is applied. It is fail-secure, so bad luck if you lose power - but it is not a deadlock, you can easily depress the spring if you have access to the inside of whatever you are locking. Although it says it needs 60mA, the unit's resistance is low so it will draw much more current unless you use a fixed current supply or pop in a small series resistor (4Ohm
Simple lock ... works smoothly (and quite loudly). Normally "locked", power to unlock. Do note that whilst the specification says 40mA current , I measured this to be 96 mA. .... so a limiting resistor might be a good idea. Also, think about what happens when you lose power or the lock fails .... how do you access your cabinet then ?

Très efficace pour verrouiller un tiroir ou une porte de placard. Attention lorsque l'éléctro-aimant reste activé longtemps, la température monte dangereusement (porte en bois...). Prévoir une sécurité pour temporiser l'ouverture !
Megérkezett időben és nagyon jó vétel volt, dicsérem az eszemet, hogy meg vásároltam. Ha nem vettem volna, meg akkor most kellene megvennem ahhoz, hogy legyen.
It looks strong enough, well done, but it takes more current than it says. I don't know for which RFID equipment is designed, but it works well with a simple button.
Ich benutze 2 dieser Riegel um die Garagentür zuzuhalten. Das funktioniert gut. Nur die Stromaufnahme ist nicht 60mA sondern ca. 600 mA.
