You can upgrade this item... some washers, hex nuts under butterfly screws... Flat plate also could be little bit sharper.

Waste of money. The slots for slicing are so big that your slicer wobbles and moves. The wing nuts don't hold for beans. The blade for scraping is dull and pulls the soap rather than slices off a thin layer. And the tools it comes with are so cheap they bent going through oatmeal on the top of my soap. And it stains! My soap sat for two days before sliceing and bent the tools so I tried again at two weeks and the mica still stained the wood of the device! Completely worthless I would have been better off with a plastic miter box for saws.
